I know there are some grammar issues in the paper but I do not correct the writers and even encourage them to write how they would speak. To me it gives it more flavor. We do proof read and of course after we publish we always see a few errors we could have fixed. Each person puts a lot of time into the paper. It takes about 3 weeks to pull each edition together and then a few days for the headings.

Is this like Karma? I went to check the mail tonight and we are having a new driveway put in. They did the driveway but there is a good 12 inch drop off where the steps up to the house will be and yelp... I miss-stepped. I don't think its broken. But its swollen big time. And right where my knee cap is must be where I hit. Its all scarped up so I must of hit there on the cement when I fell. I swear every year I have some major accident. I had been telling everyone that comes to the house watch that drop off there. We have outside lighting but a bulb needs replacing so its rather dark out there until the street lights come on, even with a full moon tonight. So yeah, here I was warning everyone else and I end up being the one who falls. Karma? I don't know a lot about her. My other knee is cool to the touch but the knee I banged up is rather warm. Guess I inflamed the muscles and ligaments? I have pain pill left over from when I broke my leg so I popped two of those, iced it, I got crutches and really that's what the ER would do, so I will just go in the morning for an x-ray.
That's something I will look into though I herd they are very expensive.

I hate how they are trying to make Prince's death into some conspiracy. Two weeks before his death He was sick with flu-like symptoms. He went to the hospital but would not stay. The plane even made a emergency landing to take him to the hospital. He got dropped off Wed and was found Thursday. He even cancelled concerts because he was sick. It's sad how his death can not be respected and reporters ask things like what was he wearing when he was found, was there any drugs found. He was found in a elevator in his home. Yeah I get he was famous and when someone famous dies they ask the most dumb questions. It's just sad some of the stuff people want to know. I liked Prince. I loved his music. He was a gift to us all. He was sick. He died. It is sad. I watched the news conference on CNN they gave and some of those reporters, some of the questions they asked, were terrible. One reporter even asked if the music was playing wanting to know what was the last song Prince herd while he was dying. The Sherriff said no music was playing. I found it sad that he was alone. He had been sick, enough so that he had been in the hospital a few days before. What family leaves a family member alone when they are sick.
Seriously, fuck 2016. First Bowie, now Prince. There were a lot of similarities for me between Prince & Bowie actually. Both incredible musicians, extremely influential in the music world, both a bit... odd. Also, I liked both of their early works much more than later stuff.
It's really pathetic how the media treats the rich and famous in these types of circumstances; unfortunately that's the world we live in where celebrities are treated like demigods.
There are certain celebrities I like; Bowie was brilliant and Prince was pure genius, but at the end of the day, they're people, and it's disgusting the way reporters pry into personal situations like that. Besides, don't we have MUCH bigger issues going on?
Who the hell would want to know what he was wearing when they found him in the elevator? But you know reporters just ask stuff they think the public wants to know. That says a lot about our society. There are rumors now too he had aids. This is just so sad. He had flu-like symptoms bad enough he was in the hospital a week before. He was 57. Yeah that is young but even at that age the flu can be a very serious illness. Its sad how we treat our celebrities like Prince. All he did for music, for his fans. When a famous person dies it becomes a circus and it is disgusting. Look how they treated Whitney Huston. A member of her own family took a picture of her in her coffin. Well I could rant on and on.

When I rate profiles I do take a moment and read them over. One recent profile I was reading it did not surprise me to see a low rating on the profile. After the first few sentences where the person is asking people to READ her profile, all of it, she starts calling everyone Fucktards. Here is a tip- when you ask people to read your profile then start to insult them, calling them names, chances are good they are just going skim to the bottom and rate you a 1. Ok, let me get this right, you want people to read and rate your profile and then you start calling everyone fucktards? We are all fucktards. She don't care what we -fucktards- think we should be rated she will rate us fucktards what she thinks we deserver. You know, if you hate VR so much and think that the majority of the community are all fucktards, why are you here? I rated this profile a 1.
People suck. If they call you names well then they don't have a brain. I say make a point or shut the fuck up lol. Whose profile is this? Now I must read it lol.
Also funny on this profile were the two statements "I rate what I think a profile is worth" and "if you rate me a 1 you get 1 back". So...You only rate what a profile is worth if the owner of it gives you a 10 then?
I guess I am ranting about profiles this week. Another is when the person has in almost every other sentence No Cybering. No flirting. I will block you if you flirt with me. Then there pictures they post are boobs, cleavage. Suggestive.

I've spent the last three hours or so looking out my office window at work, watching these A-Mish rebuild a house that was damaged in a fire. The young A-Mish boys have bowl haircuts and silver iPhones. Adorable. They seem to be building a porch on the top floor. I don't understand the A-Mish and their haircuts.
I need better hobbies. Like some, maybe, that don't involve annoying the A-Mish.
Are you sure they weren't Mennonites? Amish aren't supposed to have phones, especially cellular ones. The only exception I know of is if they need the phone for business and then its supposed to be in a booth outside their home. The reason for it is to make it as inconvenient as possible to use it as phones are of the world and the Amish are supposed to be separate from the world.

I propose - in the modern world - that if you have money and can't find some measure of happiness, you're fucked and should just hand over all of your worldly wealth to a charity or the first homeless person you see.
Personally, I'm all for giving money to charities regardless; even if a person can't necessarily give money, they can still offer their time and services.
I'm currently part of an organization that serves meals to those less fortunate in my community; which reminds me, I need to start cooking within the next few days.
I'm Happy like 99% of the time, but still give to charity and the homeless.
However, when I find myself not happy that 1% of the time, at least I find myself unhappy in a nice place.
Then I think how grateful I should be since there are those far less fortunate than I am.....and I think how blessed I am...and then it's back to being Happy Again. ^_^
We live in a materialistic society... right or wrong. Shit costs money and if you don't have any, you aren't going to be comfortable. The pursuit of money shouldn't be the entirety of anyone’s daily focus, but the ability to NOT worry about the basic necessities that money handles makes happiness a lot easier to achieve. Of course, stupid people find ways to fuck that up too, mostly by thirsting after MORE when they already have enough. In modern society, money is the literal first step to "everything." It's pretty clear, given how things are structured, that without money, the rest of Everything doesn't matter (or exist). But with money, you're able to focus on all that other shit. Like, ya know, happiness.
It's pretty dismal, but whatever, we live in a time where we'll probably kill cancer among every other evil nasty thing wrecking humans. Can't complain about that.

I am very happy with my coven because I have some awesome members so far, and I'm sure more great things are in store for Dark Paradise as well.
It probably shouldn't come as a surprise that I'm somewhat selective in deciding who will be part of our growing family; however with that said, this evening I will be making the coven more "open to the public" (at least temporarily) to mark Dark Paradise being two weeks old.
